Roman Reigns is Universal Champion again. His shock return at SummerSlam last week led to a triple-threat match at Payback and it didn't disappoint. 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman went to war for 10-minutes, battling around the WWE ThunderDome before collapsing the ring with a massive Superplex. And that was The Big Dog's cue. He appeared from the back with Paul Heyman in tow, signed his contract and inserted himself into the match. Reigns came to play dirty too. He landed a number of chair shots on both his opponents before catching The Fiend with a low blow. With Wyatt out of the way, he hit one spear on Strowman to capture the Universal title. Job done. After six months away from WWE, Reigns is back on top. But this time, it looks like he'll have his run as a heel. Reigns begins his run as WWE's top heelThat's an exciting prospect for many fans, who consider his babyface character boring and over-pushed.And it's fair to say some were loving the two 'heel moves' Reigns pulled off during his first appearance as a bad guy. After arriving to the match late and beating down Strowman with a steel chair, The Big Dog went for the pinfall and screamed 'count it, b****' at the referee. Check it out below:

Nice. Roman's second heel move, of course, was the low blow to Wyatt that eventually led to him picking up the win.

Those are two plays straight out of Heyman's playbook and we can expect to see plenty more going forward.

Social media reaction to Reigns' performance was positive too, with many loving his new attitude. Check out some of the best tweets below:

We can't wait to see where Roman's heel run takes him.
