The summer transfer window got off to a steady start but things are certainly heating up nicely.

It often takes just one or two deals to spark the market into action and that certainly proved to be the case this time around.

Chelsea the side who have got things up and running after already completing a handful of deals.

While some of those transfers were already completed going into the summer, others have only been completed in recent days.

One of those was the deal to sign Ben Chilwell.

The Leicester City full-back completed a £50million deal to move to west London after another impressive season for the Foxes last term.

Chilwell will slot in nicely at left-back for Frank Lampard's side as they look to improve on their fourth place finish in the Premier League.

For Leicester, there's work to be done.

After narrowly missing out on the top four they're in a position where they must strengthen to challenge this season.

With Chilwell moving on they are in need of a left-back to fill that void, but according to reports they may have already found their man.

Sky Sports have claimed that Leicester are in talks with Timothy Castagne over a move.

Valued at £14.4million by Transfermarkt, the Atalanta defender is in-demand following reports several weeks ago that Tottenham were keen.

But with no approach from North London emerging, it now seems that Leicester are leading the chase for his signature.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

This could be a very shrewd move for Leicester City.

After impressing for Atalanta, it's no surprise that Timothy Castagne is attracting plenty of attention.

A right wing-back by trade, the versatile defender can also play on the left side of defence or in a back four.

With just one year left on his deal, Leicester might be able to strike a cut-price deal for the defender this summer.

However if they're to do so then they'll likely need to move quickly with a number of other clubs said to be sniffing around.

Of course it's essential that the Foxes get the right man in.

Ben Chilwell was a big player for them, and so to lose him to Chelsea was a massive blow.

But if Leicester can sign a suitable replacement with money to spare, it will be excellent business all round.
