They suggest that King's representative, Jim Solbakken, has met with senior club officials at Spurs to discuss a possible move this summer.

Newcastle are still in the race to sign the 28-year-old but he won't come too cheap.
It's previously been reported that King will cost any suitor somewhere in the region of £25m.

King would be a shrewd piece of business by Tottenham, largely because he won't need much time to settle in.
The striker has 161 Premier League appearances to his name so knows the division like the back of his hand.
Add the fact that he's scored 48 top-flight goals into the equation and this is a proven reliable player.
However, if you're looking at an area where King would have to improve if he arrived at Spurs, it would be his ability in possession of the ball.
Last season, he was dispossessed 2.1 times a game and he also registered a worrying three unsuccessful touches per match.
Let's compare that to the rest of Spurs' squad. Lucas Moura topped the dispossession ranks for the north Londoners, also losing the ball on 2.1 occasions.
As for unsuccessful touches, no player registered more than King. For context, Harry Kane loses out in that department with 2.3 per outing.
Kane can be excused because of his fabulous goal scoring record, but King doesn't offer enough on the side for someone who loses the ball as regularly as he does. Levy must be careful about spending £25m here.
