Ronald Koeman wasted little time in stamping his authority at Barcelona.

Within days of his arrival, the coach told a number of first-team stars that they're not in his plans for next season.

On top of that, the Dutchman explained to Lionel Messi that his privileges at the club were done, which could have contributed to the Argentine's decision to leave Camp Nou.

But Messi won't be the only one to depart.

Luis Suarez has been given his marching orders and told to find a new club after six seasons with the Blaugrana.

That's a call that has angered many fans, who still believe the striker is amongst the best in Europe.

But Barcelona's loss will be another club's gain and according to Marca, Suarez is edging towards signing with Juventus.

Suarez could be on his way to Juve

The Spanish outlet report that he has already had two meetings with the Serie A champions and has agreed personal terms.

Suarez's contract is in the region of €10 million per year after tax which is the same wage at Barca.

Marca claim that the Uruguayan has become Juve's top target because he will sign as a free agent.

Suarez will leave Barca for free

The club are said to also be chasing Roma's Eden Dzeko, but have been put off by the fact they would have to pay a transfer fee of €10m plus his wages.

GIVEMESPORT's Ollie Browning says:

This would be a fantastic move for Juventus. Suarez is still one of the best striker's in Europe and would help bolster the club's already impressive attack.

Just imagine Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo linking up with the Uruguayan. They would be an almost unstoppable force.

Ronaldo and Suarez could link up next season

Yes, Suarez is 33 now and deemed surplus to requirements by Koeman at Barcelona, but he's still got the ability to score 20+ goals a season. He's definitely worth picking up on a free.
