WWE legend Triple H has released a video on social media with a message for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, urging him to stay at the club this summer.Whilst promoting NXT UK, Triple H has stated he wants Rice to “stay with the people that brought you to the dance,” rather than jump ship to join London rivals Chelsea. The WWE chief, and former heavyweight, has pleaded with the England midfielder to stay at the football club despite the growing interest from elsewhere.Rival London club Chelsea have been heavily-linked with Rice, who has been valued in excess of £80 million. There has also been further rumours linking him with a move away from east London.Rice was released by Chelsea at the age of 14, before making his way to West Ham in 2016. Since then, the midfielder has made 99 first-team appearances for the club. The Hammers midfielder also played every minute of their Premier League campaign as they avoided relegation last season. He also earned an international call-up in March 2019, and has seven England caps to his name so far in his career. In a video message lasting around 90 seconds, West Ham fan Triple H states Rice can build a legacy and be a Hammers hero should he snub the interest from elsewhere and stay put.

“There’s an opportunity to be something more. To be a hero,” The Game said.

The WWE legend also said there was “an opportunity to build your franchise,” when pleading with the England player.

Rice being linked with Chelsea comes as no surprise as The Blues have taken the transfer window by storm, spending over £135 million so far. If there is a confirmed move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s spending would exceed £200 million.

The spending would increase even further for Frank Lampard's side if they were to agree a price for Rice. However, Hammers coach Stuart Pearce has stated the club will “reject any offers for Rice this summer."
