Kai Havertz could be next.Man City have signed Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres and you can guarantee that Pep Guardiola will return with some fresh ideas.

Arsenal have brought in Willian and Gabriel, with William Saliba also joining the first team.

And Manchester United completed their first signing of the window on Wednesday with the arrival of £40 million midfielder Donny van de Beek.

It’s hard to say there’s a clear-cut favourite for the title.

In support of the idea that this will be a great season is the style of football that the top teams play.

Guardiola’s City can produce some swashbuckling football. Man United’s front three is a real force. Arsenal have played some fantastic stuff under Mikel Arteta.

And Chelsea will be very fun to watch with their new additions.

A warning to Liverpool?

Jurgen Klopp’s side are the team to beat. But retaining the title isn’t easy, and the Reds haven’t invested as much as their rivals have so far this summer.

And, in disappointing news for the reigning champions, we reckon they will finish third this season.
