What a summer Leeds United are having.

After storming to Championship glory last term the Whites are clearly looking to build on that momentum before the big kick-off.

Leeds have just over a week to wait until they return to Premier League action - a staggering 16 years after their last outing in the top flight.

During that time the Yorkshire side have been through the wilderness, but under their current leadership they look like the real deal.

Marcelo Bielsa is leading the way at Elland Road and has got the first team squad playing better than they've played before in their careers.

Bielsa has made his name as one of the best coaches in world football, and his work at Leeds United has certainly backed that up.

While making some glamorous signings such a Robin Koch and Rodrigo so far this summer, the Whites will be keen to sign some young talent for the Argentine to develop.

According to reports, Victor Orta is looking a fresh face has emerged as a summer transfer target.

The Yorkshire Evening Post are claiming that Leeds are interested in Ben Cabango.

The Swansea City defender burst onto the scene last term and has established himself as a key player for the Championship side.

As well as proving himself at club level, the 20-year-old will now be hoping to conquer the international stage after being called up by Ryan Giggs in his latest Wales squad.

Described by Swansea boss Steve Cooper as a player with 'high potential', the defender would certainly fit the bill in terms of what Bielsa looks for in a player.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

This move has got Marcelo Bielsa written all over it.

Ben Cabango was one of the breakout stars of last season's Championship campaign after making 23 appearances for Swansea City.

While his experience at the highest level is limited, the Welsh star has all of the potential in the world to excel on the Premier League stage.

Bielsa loves a project and perhaps a move for Cabango is exactly what he's looking for.

The 20-year-old is renowned for his aerial prowess, and that's something that could see him become a real powerhouse at Elland Road if the opportunity to sign arose.
