Manchester United mean business this summer.
After finishing in third place in the Premier League and reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League last term, expectations are high at Old Trafford.
It's been far too many years since United challenged for major honours, and that's something that supporters will be determined to see in the upcoming campaign.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done an excellent job since taking charge as he looks to change the culture of the club and bringing in players with the correct technical and mental attributes to thrive in Manchester.
That includes some very exciting links this summer.
Donny Van de Beek has already completed a big-money move to United, while the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish have also been linked.
But while offensive options have been the priority, it's also been reported that signing a defender could be on the list.
Dayot Upamecano was linked as a central defensive option, but reports in Spain have claimed that left back is now on the list as well.
AS have reported that Sergio Reguilón is a target for Man United.
The full-back enjoyed a successful season on loan with Sevilla last term where he made 38 appearances in all competitions.
But after returning to parent club Real Madrid this summer, it seems that his future may be away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite coming through the youth set-up in Madrid, the 23-year-old faces a stern challenge to overtake Marcelo and Ferland Mendy in the pecking order.
That means that the club are looking to cash in.
Valued at £22.5million by Transfermarkt, United could look to sign the Spaniard in order to bolster Solskjaer's back line.
The reports have even claimed that the Red Devils have already lodged a bid for the player, meaning that the next few days could be interesting.
GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...
What a deal this would be.
Sergio Reguilón is pretty highly regarded around Europe right now after playing a key role in Sevilla's Europa League success and helping them to a top four finish.
Man United already know how good he is - after all, it was the Spaniard who played a key role in knocking them out in the Europa League semi-finals.
Zinedine Zidane already looks to have made up his mind on the 23-year-old, and that may well play into the hands of United as they look to strengthen.
Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams are currently competing for the left-back spot, however this could be about to change if a deal is agreed.
It's certainly one to watch, and a deal that United fans would be very excited about if the club can pull it off.
