Alexis Sanchez's time at Manchester United was nothing short of a disaster.The Chilean struggled enormously during his 19 months at Old Trafford, scoring just five times in 45 appearances.Man United made a big deal about his arrival - you'll remember the piano video - and with good reason; he had excelled for Arsenal.But he flopped at the Red Devils and joined Serie A outfit Inter Milan in August 2019.Sanchez has since made his temporary stay at Inter a permanent one, which is rather awkward after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer vowed he would return and prove his doubters wrong."Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong," the Man United boss said in January, per BBC Sport.
That won't be happening and Sanchez can forget any chance of receiving a warm reception whenever he returns to Old Trafford after his latest comments about the transfer.In a video on Instagram, the 31-year-old admitted he wanted to tear up his Man United contract and return to Arsenal after his first training session with his new club.We're not kidding.“After the first training session, I realised many things and when I got back home, I told my agent if I could cancel the contract and go back to Arsenal," Sanchez says in the video.

Sanchez's comments have unsurprisingly sparked a massive reaction, with 'Alexis' trending on Twitter after they emerged.
It's a relationship that will never be repaired, that's for sure.
Sanchez simply wasn't the same player we saw light it up at Arsenal when he moved to Man United, with Gary Neville calling him an "absolute disaster".
"You talk about Alexis Sanchez going over to Italy… and I welcomed him to the club because I thought he would be a forward who could play all across the line, he would score goals, he’s tenacious," Neville said on Sky Sports, per Metro.
"But he’s been a disaster. He’s been an absolute disaster. I have no idea what’s happened to Alexis Sanchez.
‘There must be two of them. The one we saw playing for Barcelona and Arsenal for five, six, seven, eight years. The one that’s turned up in Manchester… I have no idea what it is and I have so much respect for him in terms of what I saw.
"We talked so well about him but they need to now get him out the club."
