Thiago's individual highlights
Thiago played the entire game and his highlights show just why Klopp is ready to make another move for him.
The midfielder was class, orchestrating play from the middle of the park and swiftly progressing play for Luis Enrique’s side.
His pass 15 seconds in the below video was a particular standout moment.
“Iniesta’s true heir,” read one of the comments in response to the video.
Let’s take another look at that pass, shall we?
We’ve no idea how Thiago even sees that.
If Klopp was watching, then he will have enjoyed what he saw. Liverpool fans certainly did.
Klopp urged to sign Thiago
He’s been urged to make a move for the Spain international by former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp, who believes Thiago would give the Reds “something completely different”.
“We've often spoken about how good Liverpool's midfield are, how hard-working they are, but sometimes they maybe lack that bit of finesse and that little bit of quality," Redknapp told Sky Sports.
"Thiago would give them something completely different, he's one of the best midfield players in the world. He dictates the play, plays at his own pace.
“Thiago would be a really good signing for Liverpool, and one who could give everybody a bit of a lift and make sure everybody knows there will be no resting on their laurels ahead of next season."
