The past week has seen the Premier League's top six announce some major signings.
Arsenal finally completed the acquisition of Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, while Manchester United sealed their first signing of the window by adding the talented Donny van de Beek to their squad.
Then late last night, Chelsea announced the arrival of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in a £72m deal, the most expensive transfer of the summer so far.
With just over a month left to go until deadline day, the Premier League's 'top six' have now made 14 major signings.
So with the players' competitive debuts for their new clubs on the horizon, we've decided to have a go at grading each deal out of 10.
Arsenal:
Willian | 7/10
A decent signing. Arsenal lacked creativity in 2019/20 and Willian will certainly inject some ingenuity into the side. The only downsides are his sizeable wages and the fact he's now 32, but the positives slightly outweigh the negatives.
Gabriel Magalhaes | 8/10
A top signing. The Gunners' defence was crying out for a revamp this summer and it's got just that, with Gabriel lighting up Ligue 1 with Lille the past two years. The Brazilian's potential partnership with William Saliba is one for the Arsenal faithful to be immensely excited about.
Chelsea:
Kai Havertz | 10/10
The signing of the summer so far. Havertz is already one of the best players on the planet and is still just 21. The sky is the limit for the German and Frank Lampard has a player under his wing that rival fans will be dead envious of.
Timo Werner | 9/10
Chelsea were crying out for a world-class centre forward last season and boy do they have one going into the new campaign. Just the 28 goals in 34 Bundesliga games for Werner at RB Leipzig in 2019/20...
Hakim Ziyech - 9/10
One 10/10 and two 9/10s, Chelsea's business has been fantastic thus far. Ziyech is an elite creator and the prospect of the Moroccan supplying Werner, Havertz and Christian Pulisic in 2020/21 is mouthwatering. Why other top clubs weren't fighting to sign Ziyech from Ajax is a mystery.
Thiago Silva - 7/10
The Blues' defence is in need of repair and there weren't many better quick-fixes available than Silva. Signed on a free transfer, the acquisition of the Brazilian was a no-brainer, but everyone knows deep down that the 35-year-old is simply a stop-gap.
Ben Chilwell - 7/10
A smart signing by Chelsea given the fact that Marcos Alonso is incapable of playing on the left-hand side of a back four. But it does seem as if some are going a tad overboard about Chilwell. He's a good player, but he's not exactly the second coming of Roberto Carlos, which is kind of what you expect when you spend £50m+.
Malang Sarr - 6/10
Chelsea snapped up the young French defender on a free transfer and are looking to loan him out for the 2020/21 season. Sarr impressed at times with Nice in Ligue 1 and has the potential to be a top player. It's a deal that could pay dividends for the Blues.
Liverpool:
Kostas Tsimikas - 7/10
The signing of the Greek international means Liverpool finally have a natural backup to Andy Robertson at left-back and the former Olympiakos man looks a pretty tidy player. Healthy competition can only be good for Robertson as well.
Manchester City:
Ferran Torres - 8/10
City's may already possess a wealth of attacking options, but that doesn't mean the signing of Torres isn't a seriously good one. One of the best young wingers in the world, a two-footed one at that, for just £25m? An absolute bargain.
Nathan Ake - 5/10
Pep Guardiola's defence - like Chelsea's - is in need of a summer makeover, but is Ake the calibre of player City require to improve their backline? We're not so sure. After all, this was a guy that was relegated with Bournemouth last season, making the £41m transfer fee a tad ridiculous.
Manchester United:
Donny van de Beek - 7/10
Van de Beek is a serious talent, of that there can be no doubt. But how does he fit into a United starting XI alongside Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba? In truth, he doesn't, but even if he is to spend much of his debut season on the bench, the Dutchman is a major improvement on Juan Mata and Andreas Pereira.
Tottenham:
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 7/10
Hojbjerg will likely be a useful addition to Spurs for the upcoming season after proving himself as a solid performer at Southampton. He may not be the marquee signing fans of the club are crying out for, but the Danish international is a significant improvement on record signing Tanguy Ndombele.
Matt Doherty - 8/10
The perfect right-back for Jose Mourinho. What is more, Spurs managed to sign the 28-year-old in his prime from a direct rival for just £15m. The Irishman is one of the bargain buys of the summer so far.
Havertz is the only recipient of a 10/10 rating, while the expensive signing of Ake by City receives our lowest grade of 5/10.
Of course, judging signings before they have kicked a ball with their new club is often a fools game, because as we all know, anything can happen in the world of professional football.
