Cristiano Ronaldo hit his peak during his nine-year spell with Real Madrid, most football fans would agree. The Portuguese legend scored a quite ridiculous 450 goals in 438 games at the Bernabeu. These extraordinary numbers may never be equalled.Ronaldo also won four of his five Ballon d’Or awards with Los Blancos between 2009-2018.His first Ballon d’Or award, however, came in 2008 - when he was still a Manchester United player.Ronaldo completed his transformation from boy to man under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford between 2003-2009.p1ehg5r3j518fh1dievs618m1dkl9.jpgHis talent was clear to see from day one. United fans will always remember his eye-catching substitute appearance on his debut against Bolton. But there were times, particularly during his first three seasons with the Red Devils, when he frustrated his United teammates and the fans alike.Ruud van Nistelrooy, who was used to David Beckham’s impeccable service, famously found it difficult playing alongside Ronaldo.Back when he was a youngster, Ronaldo seemed to prefer humiliating his opponents over scoring goals or registering assists.p1ehg5rqcf1efso5o1fn21v8p319b.jpgBut in terms of skill, he is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding players United fans have ever seen at the Theatre of Dreams.Football fans of a certain age will only know Ronaldo the out-and-out goalscorer, but he was so much more than that when he was younger. And a superb two-minute video has emerged on social media showing a young Cristiano ‘dropping proper defenders on the floor like it’s nothing’ is a breathtaking watch.Watch the video here…

Just ridiculous. Ronaldo possessed every trick in the book and, crucially, wasn’t afraid to showcase his fancy array of flicks and tricks during matches.

The speed at which he was capable of executing these skilful moves was incredible.

While the Real Madrid and Juventus versions of Ronaldo may have been the more effective footballer, the Manchester United version was arguably more fun to watch.
