New study finds Xbox users more 'toxic' than PlayStation users


In a recent research study conducted by, the findings suggest that Xbox players are the ‘most toxic’ gamers out there, surpassing PlayStation users in ‘physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.’

Working on the study were professional psychologists to administer the ‘Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire’ to around 1,000 gamers.

To be more exact, precisely 964 people were looked into, exploring which games and consoles appeared to be linked with the angriest and emotion provoking behaviour.

It might also be worth mentioning that on average, male gamers were found to be 13 percent more aggressive than female gamers.

Joking aside, it would appear that studies such as this might end up upsetting the gaming community, especially if their desired platform is Xbox.
