Jack Grealish didn't look impressed by Gareth Southgate's tactics for England vs Denmark
England played out a dull 0-0 draw with Denmark on Tuesday night.
Manager Gareth Southgate has been slammed by fans - and even some pundits - for the tactics and formation he used during the match.
The 3-4-3 set-up did little to help the forward trio of Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and Jadon Sancho, who were left isolated for most of the game.
Some supporters even described England's formation as 7-0-3, poking fun at the fact that it didn't look like there was a midfielder on the pitch.
It was a pretty rough night for Southgate. He did though, hand debuts to a number of players.
Conor Coady and Kalvin Phillips made their first starts, while Aston Villa's Jack Grealish came on as a substitute for his long-awaited first appearance.
But even he didn't seem quite comfortable with Southgate's tactics.
When Grealish came onto the pitch, he attempted to explain a tactical shift to one of his teammates, before shrugging his shoulders as if to say 'I have no idea, either.'

That's not ideal, is it? If the players couldn't understand the manager's system, it's little surprise they failed to break down Denmark over 90 minutes.
Despite only making an appearance off the bench - and apparently failing to understand the tactics - Grealish did thank Southgate for the opportunity to finally make his debut.
"I was actually a bit emotional," he told Sky Sports.
"It is something that you dream of, every child in England dreams of it since they were a little kid - playing for the England senior team.
"I was so privileged coming on and it was a shame we couldn't win in the end.
"I want to thank [manager] Gareth [Southgate] himself for giving me the opportunity and I hope it is the first of many."
