Leeds have signed plenty of new faces this summer.

Victor Orta has been one of the busiest men in England when it's come to recruitment but in time, the Whites will hopefully reap the rewards.

Whether it be the academy or the first-team, the Director of Football has everything covered. He and Andrea Radrizzani have well and truly splashed the cash.

In terms of permanent arrivals, they've welcomed eight faces through the door.

Illan Meslier made his loan move from Lorient a permanent switch before Rodrigo and Robin Koch were added to Marcelo Bielsa's ranks.

On top of that, they signed Joe Gelhardt from Wigan and Cody Drameh from Fulham.

Sam Greenwood, meanwhile, arrived from Arsenal and there was the addition of Dani van den Heuvel who was previously at Ajax. That's not forgetting 16-year-old Charlie Allen either.

Understandably, Leeds have been keen to improve all areas of the club and after the academy facilities received category one status, they have been quick to pounce.

Another young player is on the verge of signing too, marking Orta's ninth acquisition of a busy summer.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Leeds have agreed a deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from Feyenoord and he is all set to put pen to paper.

The move is 'very close' after a price of €1m (£909,700) was agreed between the two parties. The report states that Summerville has returned to the Dutch club from his holidays but will immediately pack his bags and head to England.

Leeds had been linked with a move for the 18-year-old Dutchman as recently as last weekend.

A deal, therefore, has progressed quickly.

GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...

It wouldn't be a surprise if Summerville went straight into the first-team and if he does, it doesn't bode particularly well for Ian Poveda.

The winger arrived in Yorkshire back in January after leaving Manchester City behind.

However, he has been stuck behind a variety of players in the pecking order at Leeds and hasn't actually played a huge amount of football.

Last term, Poveda featured in just four Championship matches and struggled to impress Bielsa.

Summerville is also a winger but despite being younger than the current Leeds winger, is actually ahead in his development.

The Netherlands youth international appeared 21 times in the top-flight of Dutch football last term, scoring twice and laying on three assists.

He is clearly already well versed in senior football despite his young age so it's no shock to see the Premier League come calling.

Summerville certainly has a bright future ahead.
