The day that football supporters have been waiting for is almost here.
No, we're not talking about the start of the new season.
Supporters are waiting with bated breath for the official release of the game that is set to sweep the nation once again, FIFA 21.
The new release from EA Sports is due for release on October 9, meaning that fans have less than a month to wait.
Whether you're a player who takes charge of your hometown club to guide them to glory, or takes over the lowest ranked side on the game to see if you can turn them in to world-beaters, there's something on offer for everyone.
If you're looking for an easy challenge, you can always take charge of one of the worlds' best clubs to really establish your dominance.
Real Madrid are always a popular club among FIFA players, and that's likely to be the case once again this season.
Zinedine Zidane's squad are among the highest rated on the game which means that you can bring all of your tricks and flicks as you look to win La Liga in style.
But while plenty of the players will be listed among the best on the game, one player will be less-than pleased with his new rating.
Gareth Bale faces an uncertain future at the Santiago Bernabeu after his bitter fallout with key figures at the club.
That has left him feeling isolated in Madrid, while also giving him more time to practice his ever-improving golf swing.
If he wasn't happy before, he'll be fuming now after seeing that the team at EA Sports have downgraded his rating.
After holding an overall score of 85 in FIFA 20, the Wales talisman looks set to be rated at just 79 in FIFA 21.
While the official ratings are yet to be confirmed, it certainly appears from Real Madrid's Instagram post that 79 is the highest that Bale could be given that he's missed out on their 'highest-rated list'.
GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...
This will certainly be a kick in the unmentionables for Gareth Bale.
The Real Madrid man's career has come to an absolute standstill with the Spanish giants after his fallout with Zinedine Zidane.
It's hard to see him breaking back in to the plans of Zidane, which means that he'd be better off moving on.
That said, his astronomical salary means that it could be tricky to secure a move.
Until that move happens it seems that Bale may be spending a bit more time on his PS4 than usual.
That's why his new rating of 79 will annoy him more than usual.
Oh well, it looks like we'll be seeing more of Gareth Bale on the golf course than ever before.
