The Premier League is finally back after a lengthy absence.

Okay, it hasn't been that long at all but it's certainly felt like an eternity.

It was just over a month ago that the 2019-20 season came to a close following the unprecedented break in the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But that doesn't mean that supporters aren't looking forward to it any less.

Liverpool ran away with the title last season as they ended their 30-year wait to bring the top prize back to Anfield.

Manchester City, who were supposed to push them all of the way, ended up finishing in second place but massively underperforming compared to expectations.

Manchester United and Chelsea both endured seasons of transition, but did well to achieve top four finishes and qualify for the Champions League as a result.

Both sides will have high hopes of pushing Liverpool for the title this time around.

Meanwhile in North London, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal both endured torrid campaign, however the expectation will be on them to significantly improve this term.

The fate of these clubs is hugely dependant on the men who get paid the big bucks - the attackers.

Goals win games, that's a fact and everyone in the Premier League knows it.

But who will be the man to fire their team to glory this term by winning the prestigious Golden Boot award?

Here are the latest Bet 365odds, via Oddschecker, to become the most lethal goal-getter in the Premier League.

1. Mohamed Salah – 5/1

The Liverpool man was key to the club's title-winning campaign last time out, and the Egyptian is favourite to lead the charts once again.

2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 11/2

With a new contract almost agreed, the bookies are predicting that the Arsenal man will do all that he can to fire the Gunners towards the top end of the table.

3. Harry Kane – 11/2

Tottenham's hopes of finishing in the top four hinge in the form of the England skipper, and so they'll be praying that he's on form.

4.Timo Werner – 8/1

The only new name in the list, the German international will be hoping that he can hit the ground running in his debut season for Chelsea.

5.Sergio Aguero – 9/1

Manchester City's prime goalscoring threat, Aguero will be key to Pep Guardiola's title-winning chances.

6. Raheem Sterling – 12/1

While Aguero is paramount to City's success, the England international will also be expected to improve on his goalscoring record to ease the burden.

7. Sadio Mane – 14/1

Arguably a better performer than Mo Salah for Liverpool last term, Mane will be hoping to fire his club to glory once more.

8. Jamie Vardy – 16/1

The Leicester City man is a real pain in the neck for Premier League defenders, and Vardy will be hoping to use his tireless work ethic to fire the Foxes back into the top four this term.

9. Gabriel Jesus – 16/1

First team opportunities have been slightly limited of late, but the Brazilian will be hoping that a strong run of goals can see him become Man City's main man in attack.

10. Marcus Rashford – 20/1

The only Manchester United star in the top 10, Rashford will need to shoulder much of the goalscoring pressure if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are to challenge for the title.
