Tottenham are in hot pursuit of a striker this summer.
And who can blame them?
Harry Kane has missed 33 matches over the last two seasons and without him, they struggle significantly.
For context, Spurs won just three league matches from seven games he missed at the turn of the year and that set them back considerably in their bid to get in the Champions League.
Fortunately, Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho know that they need bodies in that position.
They have been linked with moves for players like Troy Deeney, Josh King and Ollie Watkins already this summer.
The latter may have joined Aston Villa, but the likes of King and Deeney indicate that Tottenham merely need a back-up striker to play second fiddle.
It's strange, therefore, that the Lilywhites are weighing up a move for a prolific forward on the continent. News emerged of a swoop for Patson Daka on Thursday but someone who has been targeted all summer long is still at the forefront of their minds.
That's because preliminary talks have now opened to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
GIVEMESPORT revealed a few months ago that he could move to the club in a swap deal but according to Football Insider, Napoli now just want cash for the player after failing to find a buyer so far in the market.
However, Spurs are weighing up a bid because his value has been slashed by a massive £14m.
Milik was valued at £46m but his asking price has dropped to £32m. You can see why Levy may now be prepared to test the waters in Naples.

At just 26 years of age, Milik is very quickly approaching his prime years.
For that reason, paying a price of £32m is probably worth it.
The Poland international racked up 14 goals in 35 outings last season and has earned some hefty comparisons, as well as being praised by his peers on a regular basis.
Speaking about Milik in 2019, Italian journalist Bruno Longhi claimed he could do "wonderful things with the ball."
Meanwhile, analysis website BreakingTheLines suggested the forward had shown "shades of Dennis Bergkamp" after Napoli brushed aside Roma during the 2018/19 campaign.
Now, Spurs supporters might not appreciate seeing his name alongside an Arsenal legend, but the fact of the matter is that Milik is a fabulous player. Most importantly, he is a goal scorer.
He has 48 strikes to his name in 122 matches for Napoli while he also racked up 47 goals in only 75 appearances for Ajax. Wherever he's been, the Pole has been able to find the back of the net.
However, what's important to remember, is that earlier this summer it was revealed that Milik wouldn't be too keen playing as a second-string striker to Kane.
Spurs must, therefore, convince him that this would be the right move to make. Levy better get his thinking cap on.
