The Hoops managed to swat aside Ross County in devastating fashion as they won 5-0 on the same day that arch-rivals Rangers beat Dundee 4-0.
For once, it looks as though we may well have a title race on our hands in the SPFL.

They initially wanted to sign him on the cheap but a fresh report states that they will have to pay £10m in order to land his services.
That means that Nick Hammond would have to part ways with a club-record fee. Tasty.
FI reveal that Bournemouth are also eyeing a move for Davies, but they have had a £5m bid already rejected.
Preston have so far tried and failed to tie the 25-year-old down to a new contract.

Ben Davies' rise over the last few years may have been described as "phenomenal" but there is no way he is a £10m player.
Celtic only signed Shane Duffy on loan a few weeks ago and he has taken to Scottish football like a duck to water.
As well as scoring on his debut at the weekend, the Irishman won five aerial duels and completed 89.7% of his passes. On top of that, Duffy made a combined four tackles and interceptions.
Although he's only having a temporary stint at Parkhead, it points to a player who could very much replace Kristoffer Ajer if he departs for Southampton.
Of course, if he does leave then an extra centre-back would be handy, but at the end of the day, the Bhoys shouldn't be spending a club-record fee on doing so.
From their give games in the league to date, they have only conceded two goals. Hammond would, therefore, be foolish to spend so much money on an area where they are already pretty strong.
