Reported Arsenal target Papiss Demba Cisse will be made available in the summer, it has been claimed.
The Freiburg striker has been in sensational form this season - notching 20 goals in only 29 Bundesliga games - and is now unsurprisingly a target for a number of clubs in England and on the continent.
Arsenal have previously been linked with the 25-year-old, who would allegedly be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium.
"There’s no mistaking he’s very happy at Freiburg and he’s under contract until 2014, but Arsenal certainly interests him," a source close to Cisse previously told Goal.com.
"Freiburg are a great but small club so it's very likely he will go in the summer. And Cisse is worthy of Champions League football, that is what he's aiming for."
However, Arsenal are expected to have their work cut out in order to finalise a deal for the Frenchman after Bild reported Freiburg are set to tout the £13.2 million-rated hotshot to potential suitors.
Should Cisse opt to join Arsenal - or anyone else for that matter - then he would go with the best wishes of Freiburg, who are keen to cash-in while his price remains at its optimum value.
General manager Dirk Dufner told Suedwestrundfunk: "You could not blame Cisse for leaving if there is a club that would hand him a much better salary. The final decision [on a transfer] will definitely be our decision."
Arsenal have also been linked with Lukas Podolski and Eden Hazard in their pursuit of attacking reinforcements.
