Leeds United have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer market this summer.
It follows a particular theme that Fulham and Aston Villa adhered to in recent years.
However, Leeds have been a bit more meticulous in who they sign, rather than going out and spending a bucket load on new recruits.
The brunt of their new signings have been for the academy. Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood, for example, both made their debuts for the U23s in the last few days after their arrivals from Wigan and Arsenal.
Orta has been persistent in the window, strengthening the academy and also the first-team squad.
He brought in Robin Koch as Ben White's replacement, while he crushed the club's transfer record in order to land Rodrigo from Valencia.
Leeds aren't here to mess about and their 4-3 defeat at Anfield proved that - going forward, they were exceptional.
It's remarkable to think that they could still get better before the window closes next month.
Earlier in the market, they were linked with a move for Norwich playmaker Emiliano Buendia.
They were quoted at a price of £25m for the diminutive Argentine but even though the rumour has gone quiet, the player himself has now spoken about a possible switch again from Carrow Road.
Speaking in an interview published by PA Media (via The Athletic), Buendia admitted that he wanted to stay in the Premier League.
It's a remark that has concerned those at Norwich who weren't even aware the interview was taking place.

With a move for Rodrigo de Paul looking 'impossible' according to reputable journalist David Ornstein, it wouldn't be entirely out of the question that Leeds look at alternatives.
Of course, the club have been linked with a number of attacking wingers this summer, including Said Benrahma and Ebere Eze but moves for the duo have failed to materialise.
Eze has since joined Crystal Palace while the former could link up with him at Selhurst Park this term.
Buendia, however, would be a much cheaper alternative to De Paul. It's thought that Udinese want £36.8m for his services which is a deal Leeds are struggling to do.
Yet, by landing the Norwich playmaker instead, they'd have someone that they know can perform in the Premier League.
Although the 23-year-old struggled in the back half of the campaign, he started the 2019/20 season in blistering form, assisting four goals in his first five outings.
He still has a long way to go to become proven, but at least he has plenty of experience of English football. De Paul, on the other hand, doesn't have any.
If they are looking for alternatives, they'd find few better than Buendia.
