Manchester United fans are still desperately hoping that Jadon Sancho will complete a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund before the transfer window closes on October 5.

United are not prepared to meet Dortmund’s £108 million asking price for the 20-year-old, who remains the club’s number one transfer target.

They hope that Dortmund will agree to lower their demands in order for Sancho to seal a lucrative transfer to Old Trafford.

However, United supporters are growing increasingly pessimistic that the deal will happen.

The club’s only signing so far is midfielder Donny van de Beek, who cost £35.7 million from Ajax.

But United could sign another right-sided winger, according to the Manchester Evening News (MEN).

Amad Traore isn’t a name that many United fans will be overly familiar with, but the 18-year-old is on the Red Devils’ radar.

Traore only turned 18 in July and made his Serie A debut with Atalanta last season.

He scored four minutes after coming off the bench against Udinese and became the first player born in 2002 to score in the Italian top flight.

The MEN understand that Traore is *not* seen as an alternative to Sancho, which will please many United fans.

But the teenager, who is also being looked at by other clubs, will not come cheap.

A video showing ‘why Man Utd want Amad Traore’ has already been uploaded to YouTube - and you can watch it here…

Speedy, quick-footed, skillful, confident on the ball, blessed with a dangerous left foot… it’s easy to see from this footage why United are interested in the youngster.

Will we see him in a red shirt at Old Trafford this season?
