Liverpool have finally agreed a fee to sign Bayern Munich star Thiago Alcantara.
The Premier League champions have been chasing their man for months and it looks like a deal will finally be concluded this week.
In Thiago, Jurgen Klopp will be getting an incredible midfielder, one who is sure to contribute to a strong title defence this season.
He's regarded as one of the best players in Europe, so to get him for £27m is brilliant business for Liverpool.
But exactly what are they getting for their money? Well, Gary Neville has summed him up pretty well.
"He is world-class and would give Liverpool a world-class presence in an area of the field where they don’t have a world-class presence," the Sky Sports pundit said, per the Liverpool Echo.
"They need that impetus to stay where they are. Signing Thiago sends a message to the rest of the players that 'we’ve signed one of the best in the world'."
High expectations, then. No pressure, Thiago.
But we think the Spaniard will handle himself just fine, especially after watching some of his highlights in a Bayern Munich shirt.
Check out the video below, which shows Liverpool fans exactly what they're getting:
Class. Thiago really does have it all.
He can ping a perfect pass across the field, finish in style, kill the ball with his control and even beat man with skill.
Thiago's time in the Bundesliga was very successful, too. He scored 17 goals in 148 appearances while providing a further 19 assists.
The midfielder also averaged 104 touches per game, suggesting that teammates were not afraid to give him the ball.
He's certainly used to success too, with seven Bundesliga titles, four German Cups and a Champions League win on his CV already.
Strap yourselves in Liverpool fans, it's going to be a fun season.
