Gareth Bale's time at Real Madrid is up.

The Welshman is set to re-join Tottenham on-loan this weekend, but it's unlikely he'll ever return to play for Los Blancos.

After seven seasons with the club, he simply isn't fancied there anymore.

Bale has been frozen out by manager Zinedine Zidane for months now and he even lost the backing of many supporters.

That's despite the forward's impressive contribution to the team.

Since arriving in 2013, he's won 13 major trophies including two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey and four Champions Leagues.

Many fans are quick to forget that, as well as Bale's solid statistics that saw him score 105 goals and provide 68 assists in 251 matches.

Bale scored an impressive amount of goals

But not all of them are happy to see him go. On Friday, a video titled 'Let's remember THIS Gareth Bale!' was shared on social media.

It shows the player's true highlights from his time at Real Madrid, including his most memorable goals in a white shirt.

Check it out below:

GIVEMESPORT'S Ollie Browning says:

It's incredible to think so many people have forgotten just how brilliant Gareth Bale was for Real Madrid

He was key to at least one La Liga title win (the second not so much) and four Champions League triumphs.

It's just a shame he'll leave on such a sour note. Filling the hole that Cristiano Ronaldo left was always going to be a near-impossible and unfortunately, that task fell to Bale.

Bale couldn't live up to Ronaldo's standards

But just look at the goals he's capable of scoring. If the Welshman can even do half of what he did at his peak, then Spurs have made an incredible signing.

We'd love to see some more long-range rockets and overhead kicks when he returns to the Premier League!
