Liverpool are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara for £27 million.
He'll become the Premier League champions first major signing of the summer after a quiet transfer window to date.
But don't worry, the midfielder will certainly be worth the wait.
Thiago is regarded as one of the best players in Europe and he can do it all in the middle of the park.
Pinging balls across the pitch. Finishing with style. Beating a man with skill. The Spaniard ticks every box.
Things could be about to get even more exciting for Liverpool fans too.
According to SPORT, the Reds have made a loan offer for Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.
The Spanish publication report that Jurgen Klopp wants to increase attacking competition and depth to his squad, so the club have reached out to sound out the possibility of adding the Frenchman.
Liverpool are happy to pay the player's whole salary and a small fee to take him on-loan for the 2020/21 season.
However, Barcelona are yet to respond and it's reported that they won't let Dembele leave if it's only on a short-term loan deal.
GIVEMESPORT's Ollie Browning says:
This is certainly an interesting story that's come out of nowhere. All of a sudden, Liverpool have burst into life in the transfer market.
First they agree a deal to sign Thiago and now they're going after Dembele. If they can get the second over the line, it would be brilliant business.
Despite a rocky start to his career at Camp Nou, Dembele is still only 23 and has plenty of time to fill the potential that saw him command a €105m fee back in 2017.
But with the likes of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati for attacking competition, he may not get too many chances to start this season.
A loan move to Liverpool could be an ideal scenario for all parties, but it seems the Reds will have to convince Barcelona first...
