Leeds have done some tremendous work in the transfer market this summer.

There has been no rest for Andrea Radrizzani or Victor Orta who have arguably been busier than ever before.

Radrizzani has been getting his cheque book out on a regular basis while Orta's PowerPoint presentations have clearly been in full flow.

He has convinced a plethora of players to join the Whites this summer and Rodrigo's arrival for a club-record arrival was fine evidence of the pulling power they have.

After all, this is a club with a rich history in the top-flight and on the continent.

The latest addition was Crysencio Summerville from the Netherlands. On top of strengthening the first-team, Orta has been keen to capitalise on the category one status the academy now possesses.

That's clear with one of their latest targets now too.

Rodrigo at Anfield for Leeds

According to an exclusive report from Football League World, Leeds are one of a number of clubs chasing a midfielder in the Championship.

That happens to be tricky youngster Michael Olise.

The Reading player enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at the Madejski Stadium last term and is now being watched by ten teams, including Arsenal and Wolves.

FLW insist that he is merely being tracked at the moment and no bids have been made for Olise.

Interest in the 18-year-old is growing and the teenager is likely to command a significant fee if the Royals are willing to let him leave.

Michael Olise

GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...

Olise is one of the best young talents in the Championship so this would be an exquisite capture by Leeds.

Last season, he played 32 games, scoring four goals and creating five assists in the process.

One of the most eye-catching parts of his game is the sheer versatility that he possesses. This should immediately get Bielsa's pulse rising a bit. The Argentine loves someone who can play in more than one position so he'd get on well with Olise.

He played on both flanks in 2019/20, as well as in midfield and behind the striker.

Olise is a player who commands the respect of his teammates too. Sam Baldock said earlier this year: "Michael is a real talent, he’ll get on the ball in any situation. He’s fearless, if you ask him today I’ll guarantee that he had no nerves. He’s a lively character and one who I’ve noticed a real change in the last couple of months."

Leeds have already had a taste of how good he is too. Just check out the skill below...

The youngster makes an absolute mockery of Pablo Hernandez as he dances between the Spaniard and Mateusz Klich to open up a promising situation for Reading.

If he produced moments of magic like that for Leeds then he'd quickly become a fan favourite.
