Two members of the Premier League's 'top six' have been very active in the transfer window over the past week.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham have added two players apiece to their squads, with all four signings likely to significantly improve both teams in the long run.

Liverpool have brought in Thiago Alcantara - one of the world's best midfielders - from Bayern Munich and exciting 23-year-old forward Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Spurs have officially re-signed Gareth Bale from Real Madrid on loan and have also brought in left-back Sergio Reguilon from Los Blancos on a permanent basis.

The four acquisitions mean that every member of the Premier League's top six could now field an awesome 'all-out-attack' XI in 202021.

Bale has re-signed for Tottenham

For each of English football's exclusive six-team club, we've comprised a starting lineup littered with star-studded attackers and with a total disregard for balance.

But forget about defensive stability, we want entertainment!

Arsenal

XI: Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Gabriel Magalhaes, David Luiz, Kieran Tierney, Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, Willian, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal's XI

We need Mikel Arteta to field an attacking quartet of Pepe, Willian, Aubameyang and Lacazette at least once this season, just for the sheer hell of it - ideally in a game against a direct rival, just to add that extra edge.

Chelsea

XI: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Reece James, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner.

Chelsea's XI

You won't see many better attacks than this - on paper at least. The signings of Werner, Ziyech and Havertz this summer give Frank Lampard so many options going forward. This could be a lineup the manager turns to in 2020/21 as well.

Liverpool

XI: Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool's XI

We know Jurgen Klopp is very, very unlikely to move away from his tried and tested 4-3-3, but the addition of Jota means he could do so in a very exciting manner. Just imagine Thiago threading passes through to that front four!

Manchester City

XI: Ederson, Kyle Walker, Aymeric Laporte, Nathan Ake, Benjamin Mendy, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus.

Man City's XI

We know Pep Guardiola is a sucker for going 'all-out-attack' at times and this front-heavy XI would tear opposing defences to shreds. To highlight City's attacking depth, this team doesn't even include Bernardo Silva or summer signing Ferran Torres!

Manchester United

XI: David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial.

Man Utd's XI

United's performance versus Palace yesterday was limp and lifeless, so maybe it'd be best if they utilised this lineup and put teams to the sword. Van de Beek, Pogba and Fernandes may not be the most balanced midfield trio, but they'd certainly drive the team forward.

Tottenham

XI: Hugo Lloris, Matt Doherty, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Sergio Reguilon, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Lucas Moura, Gareth Bale, Heung-min Son, Harry Kane.

Spurs' XI

Son and Lucas either side of Kane and Bale as a central pairing? Yes please! In midfield, Lo Celso and Ndombele would also contribute a lot in attack, but there's sadly little to no chance that Jose Mourinho would ditch his pragmatic ways to field this XI.

They all look brilliant, don't they? If you twisted our arm with regards to picking the best, we'd have to go with Liverpool, mainly due to the addition of the always marvellous Thiago and his link-up with the famous front three.
