Luis Suarez looks to have played his final game for Barcelona.
It's been all change at Camp Nou since their humiliating loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and the impending exit of the Uruguayan has been one of the most telegraphed alterations.
Most Barcelona fans would agree that Suarez has visibly been declining for the last few years, but it's still nothing trivial when you're waving goodbye to a 20-goal-a-season striker.

Besides, it's no coincidence that some of Europe's top clubs have been sniffing around Suarez's signature with Juventus seemingly coming close to uniting him with Cristiano Ronaldo.
But over the last few hours, it has transpired that Suarez has agreed a deal to sign for Atletico Madrid, which has come as something of a surprise considering their status in La Liga.
Clearly Barcelona don't see their capital rivals as too much of a threat in next season's title race if they're going to so readily hand them Suarez regardless of his contract situation.

The simplicity of the deal has also been massaged by Alvaro Morata's departure from Atletico, reuniting with Juventus after four years on a loan contract.
But either way, a move to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium would see Suarez become the latest in a long line of world-class strikers at the club.
Atletico have seen the likes of Fernando Torres, Diego Forlan, Sergio Aguero, Radamel Falcao, Diego Costa, Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann don their jerseys in the last 15 years.
However, for every new beginning, something must come to an end and there's no doubt that Barcelona will be wishing the 33-year-old all the best after six seasons for service.

And such is the inevitable nature of Suarez's departure from Catalonia that Barcelona fans are already creating their own unique ways of saying goodbye.

The moral of the story is that there's a pretty strong argument that Suarez has been the best player of the Ronaldo and Lionel Messi era... aside from, of course, Ronaldo and Messi.
If nothing else, the streets will never forget the astonishing 2015/16 season in which Suarez won the European Golden Shoe with an astonishing 59 strikes in just 53 games.

That, and his overall tally of 198 strikes in the famous red and blue jersey makes him the club's third all-time top scorer behind Cesar and some Argentine bloke whose name escapes me...
Throw in a Champions League trophy, four La Liga title, four Copa del Rey victories, the FIFA Club World Cup and the fact so many of goals were simply outrageous for a staggering resume.
Say what you like about Suarez's most recent campaign, but calling him a Barcelona legend is as much of an understatement as saying his goal-scoring record is half decent. All the best, Luis.
