Roman Reigns is back on top in WWE.

At last month's Payback PPV, he beat Braun Strowman and 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt to capture the Universal Championship in his first match since February.

'The Big Dog' will no doubt hold the gold for quite some time and now he's aligned with Paul Heyman, fans aren't too upset about it.

Reigns will defend his championship for the first time against Jey Uso at Clash of Champions this Sunday in what's being billed as a family affair.

But while that match requires immediate attention, you can bet WWE already have an eye on next year's WrestleMania event.

So who will be in line for a match with Roman come next March? Could it be someone else from the bloodline? The Rock, perhaps?

Speaking this week, Dwyane Johnson refused to rule out a return to WWE and said that 'the match that makes sense' would see him battle Reigns on the biggest stage.

The Rock could face Reigns at WM

Talking about a potential comeback on YouTube, The Rock said:

"It's so funny how a lot of people always say; 'well if you ever go back to WrestleMania, who would be the opponent that you would face?'

"It feels like the one that would make sense would be Roman, in terms of box office draw."

Reigns vs Rock would be a huge match

Rock then joked that WWE would probably try to book him in a multi-year feud that would span more than one WrestleMania - much like his programme with John Cena.

But after that little tease, 'The Great One' confirmed that he is ready to make a comeback, should the match ever be on the table.

"You know what, the truth is, I would be honoured not only to share the ring with Roman and to go back to the WWE but of course, man, I would be honoured to have him raise his hand on that one."

Reigns vs Rock would be box office

Book it Vince, book it right now!
