And Sevilla are somewhat experts when it comes to winning European competitions with their most recent Europa League victory marking their fourth triumph in just seven years.
That being said, Sevilla have always come up short in the last decade when it's come to facing the Champions League winners and Bayern couldn't have posed a tougher task.
We are, of course, talking about the team that slapped about Barcelona 8-2, while also winning 7-2 away at Tottenham and smashing home seven goals against Chelsea over two legs.

Nevertheless, Bayern aren't without faults and a chink in their armour was on full display during the early exchanges as Sevilla won themselves a penalty after David Alaba's foul.
There might even have been a reserved smugness amongst Barcelona fans when you consider that it was Ivan Rakitic, fresh from leaving Camp Nou, who won the spot kick.
However, what made the penalty so remarkable was the fact Lucas Ocampos decided to pull off a no-look shot, which is pretty brave when you're facing none other than Manuel Neuer.

But footage clearly shows that Ocampos deliberately looked to his right-hand side as he cheekily placed his spot kick in the opposite direction, seemingly fooling Neuer in the process.

Bayern hit back through Goretzka
However, this is Bayern we're talking about; you need much more than one goal to wrap up a win against them and the Bavarians were sure to hit back before the half-time whistle.
Leon Goretzka - with his eyes on the ball, we hastened to add - drew the scores level after a stunning pass from Thomas Muller and superb one-touch assist from Robert Lewandowski.
But regardless of whether Bayern overhaul their opponents or not, credit to Ocampos for having his eyes on the prize by, well, not having his eyes on the prize.
