Marcus Rashford scored an absolutely brilliant individual goal to put Manchester United 2-1 ahead against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

United had earlier trailed after Neal Maupay's outrageous Panenka penalty put the home side ahead.

However, a Lewis Dunk own goal levelled the scores just before half-time.

The start of the second half was absolute madness.

First, Brighton were awarded another penalty after Aaron Connolly went down under Paul Pogba's challenge. However, VAR ruled that it wasn't a penalty.

Then, Marcus Rashford thought he had put United 2-1 ahead. Assistant referee Sian Massey kept her flag down but VAR ruled it out for offside.

But Rashford was celebrating just minutes later.

He received the ball from Bruno Fernandes on the left-wing before beating defender Ben White THREE times and then firing the ball into the back of the net.

What. A. Goal.

It's been an incredible week for Rashford who, once again, showed his class off the pitch.

He wrote a letter to Education Secretary Gavin Williamson and called him out on his lack of response to tackle child poverty

"I am disappointed by the lack of empathy shown in recent weeks towards protecting our most vulnerable, the future of this country… letting millions of children in the UK go hungry at night is only an issue of humanity. We need to do better," Rashford wrote.

An incredible person off and on the pitch.
