Paris Saint-Germain didn’t get off to the best of starts in Ligue 1 this season.
The star-studded French side, who reached last season’s Champions League final, lost their opening two fixtures of the current campaign against Lens and Marseille.
However, Thomas Tuchel’s side have since bounced back with victories over Metz, Nice and now Reims.
PSG’s latest win against Reims came on Sunday evening. Mauro Icardi scored both goals in a 2-0 victory away at the Stade Auguste-Delaune II.
The two goals were assisted by Kylian Mbappe.
However, it was Neymar who went viral on social media after pulling off one of the filthiest skills we’ve seen in 2020 so far.
After receiving the ball, Neymar saw midfielder Valon Berisha closing him down out the corner of his eye.
The Brazilian showed incredible feet and quick thinking to get away from the Kosovo international.
Berisha, bamboozled by Neymar’s magic, didn't know what had just happened.
Here’s one angle of Neymar’s brilliant skill…
And here’s a close-up…
Pure class. You can’t teach off-the-cuff individual brilliance like that.
Purely in terms of skill, Neymar is probably the best player in the world right now and has been for some time.
The 28-year-old isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, for various reasons, but there’s no denying that players
of his ilk make football more entertaining.
He’s the type of footballer who always guarantees at least one magical moment every time he takes to the pitch.
Neymar isn’t afraid to try new things during matches and he should be applauded, not condemned, for that.
Following their latest win, PSG now find themselves up to seven place in the Ligue 1 table with nine points from a possible 15.
Rennes currently sit top of the table followed by Lille and Saint-Etienne.
