Leeds United are loving life at the moment. After storming to promotion last season by winning the Championship with a 10-point margin, few expected the way that the Whites would take to life at the higher level.Frankly, they've caught everyone off guard. Two wins from three Premier League games represents an excellent start to life in the top flight, with their only defeat coming against reigning champions Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season. But while Leeds have made a good start to the season ahead, there's still plenty of work to do.Victor Orta and his recruitment team have been working tirelessly to get the first team squad in shape for the season.Marcelo Bielsa is fiercely loyal to the players who secured promotion for the club - something which is justified given how well they've started life in the top tier. But adding quality is crucial.p1ej9v1soqmhd2ld1f7l7md1m349.jpgRobin Koch, Rodrigo and Diego Llorente have already joined the club as senior additions, while a flurry of young players have also joined the club. However Leeds are far from done yet. With a week remaining in the transfer window it seems that the Whites are really stepping up their search for players. One position that's being targeted is in central midfield with various targets being mentioned.p1ej9v48d31v5lh31om11fc71vfqb.jpgMichael Cuisance is one of those discussed, with a move gathering pace. The Bayern Munich midfielder is regarded as a top talent but has failed to break into the European giant's first team on a regular basis.Limited to just 11 first team appearances so far, the 21-year-old could be available for a move, with Phil Hay claiming that Leeds are in talks over a deal.

He tweeted: "No comment from Leeds United but reports of serious interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance are accurate.

"Talks have taken place and all sides are open to the possibility of a deal.

"One to watch closely this week."

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

This is incredibly exciting news for Leeds United fans.

Michael Cuisance is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in European football.

Bayern Munich moved to sign him last summer and he's certainly showed what he's capable of after slowly breaking into the first team set-up with the German giants.

However with regular first team football a concern, Leeds may be given the green light.

It remains to be seen what sort of deal is being discussed with Bayern, but Marcelo Bielsa will be all over this.

Valued at £9million by Transfermarkt, Leeds would have to pay a significant sum to get the deal done - especially with Bayern paying £10.8million to sign him last summer.

This is one to watch out for this week, and one that would be a real signal of intent if the Whites can pull it off.
