Leeds United have made a dream start to life in the Premier League.Marcelo Bielsa's side were unstoppable in the Championship last term after securing the league title with a 10-point buffer on their nearest rivals. The Whites were always going to be brimming with confidence as they took to life in the top tier, but few expected them to adapt so easily. After 16 years away from the top tier Leeds could be forgiven for taking time to adjust, but two wins from their opening three games suggests that they have taken to the challenge with no issue whatsoever.Bielsa is a big advocate of keeping the faith with the squad of players who secured promotion for the club, but even he knows that they will need to strengthen if they're to compete in the long run.Victor Orta and his recruitment team have been working hard to bring high quality players into the club - something that they've done with relative success.Deals for Robin Koch, Rodrigo and Diego Llorente have certainly improved the options available to the Argentine head coach, but Leeds are far from done yet.The club are keen to bring in another attacking midfielder who can challenge for a place in the starting XI, with several names linked this summer.p1ejada13e1hdibitrsf3u01i9s9.jpgBut it seems that the interest in one player who could be a big talking point in the final week of the transfer window.Mike McGrath of The Telegraph has reported that Leeds United are interested in a move for Todd Cantwell. The Norwich City star is hot property after scoring seven goals for the Canaries in the Premier League last term. Now in the Championship, the midfielder is a target for the Whites, with Phil Hay of The Athletic claiming that contact has been made over a move.

Taking to Twitter, Hay said: "There has been contact.

"Cantwell not in Norwich's squad today and wants to come back to the Premier League."

However Hay did later suggest that his sources had played down talk of a move amid interest in Bayern Munich man Michael Cuisance.

He said: "People I spoke to yesterday were playing the Cantwell link down.

"It's not to say there's nothing in it at all but Cuisance is a major target."

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

Todd Cantwell would be a great signing for Leeds United.

Valued at £18million by Transfermarkt, the Norwich City man is one of the top players in the Championship after relishing the challenge of playing in the top flight last term.

Those performances have earned him the right to have another crack at the big time, and a move to Elland Road would certainly offer him that.

Marcelo Bielsa would surely love to coach a player with the ability that the 22-year-old has, and I'm sure that Cantwell would really benefit too.

Whether a move materialises is up for debate, but it's certainly one that seems to have legs.
