Falk tweeted: "The negotiations between Bayern Munich and Leeds United are entering the decisive phase.

"The player has permission to leave the club."

Those reports were backed up by Fabrizio Romano who claims that an €20million (£18million) fee is on the table.

He said: "Talks progressing between Leeds and Bayern Münich for Michaël Cuisance.

"Personal terms already agreed.

"€20million (£18million) as final fee offered by Leeds to complete the deal."

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

Leeds United fans should be very excited by the way that this is developing.

Valued at £9million by Transfermarkt, Michael Cuisance is a player with a glowing reputation in European football as he prepares for a career at the highest level.

Unfortunately things haven't quite worked out at Bayern Munich.

While he's still highly-rated, Cuisance needs to be playing first team football if he's going to fulfil his undoubted potential.

A move to Elland Road would certainly help with that.

Marcelo Bielsa would relish the chance to play with such a talented young player and would surely help to bring the best out of him.

Cuisance would face a battle to get into the starting XI, but there's no doubt that he has the quality to be a real success.
