However such success doesn't come without significant hardship behind the scenes.
After finishing sixth in the Premier League last term the focus this summer was always going to be on strengthening the first team squad.

As well as competing for major trophies, Mourinho has been tasked with qualifying for the Champions League this term and that's why he was so keen to strengthen the squad.
Five players have already been added to the group, including Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale who joined from Real Madrid.
Another position that's been targeted is a striker, with Carlos Vinicius of Benfica heavily linked with a move to the club.
The search for a new forward has apparently taken its toll behind the scenes, with Fabrizio Romano hinting that the search has led to a clash between Mourinho and Daniel Levy as they look to find the ideal man to join the club.
But while Vinicius now seems to be the frontrunner, Romano has said that Tottenham fans should keep an eye on the situation regarding a different target.
Speaking to Oddschecker on YouTube, Romano said: "They are discussing between the board and Mourinho.
"They have different ideas about the kind of strikers they want.
"They are discussing to find an agreement about the player."
Romano added: "Pay attention to Milik.
"He is one of the most serious options on the list.
"After speaking with many agents I think they have been offered over 100 strikers.
"They have to make a decision. Pay attention to Milik, in my opinion. They were also talking to Bayer Leverkusen but Bayer Leverkusen said no.
"The same for Luka Jovic but they don't want this type of striker.
"Pay attention to Milik because he has been offered again. However, he has many injuries and Harry Kane has some injuries in the season. He is an option to loan with an option to buy."
