As it was last summer, this transfer window has been momentous for Aston Villa.
They've spent around £75m on making their squad a more prominent force in the Premier League.
That's a lot of money, but when you finished just one place outside the relegation places last term, it had to be done.
They have had to be careful, though. They spent £130m+ on players who didn't cut the grade in 2019 but efforts have been made to correct that in recent months.
They've signed more proven players in the shape of Emiliano Martinez, someone who starred for Arsenal in the FA Cup last season.
On top of that, they signed Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash - two players who stood out in the Championship.
Bertrand Traore has also arrived and with Ross Barkley joining on loan this week, they look well set to rise up the table.
However, their business might not be done there. That's because there's a sense that another attacking player would go down nicely at Villa Park.
The Villans have been linked with a move for Joshua King in the window and they've now been given somewhat of a boost in their pursuit.
The Daily Mail revealed earlier this week that Bournemouth were now looking for a fee of just £10m in order to let him go. Spurs had been in the race but they're on the verge of signing another striker, Carlos Vinicius.
Torino want to sign King but if the Norwegian has desires of staying in England, then Villa represents an ideal destination.
Aston Villa and Johan Lange supposedly made a bid for King earlier in the window but that doesn't look as though it materialised.

With Ally Samatta departing for Fenerbahce last week, Villa could benefit from adding another forward to their ranks.
Ollie Watkins scored in the Carabao Cup and also against Manchester United in a pre-season friendly but he's still yet to find the back of the net in the league.
That is no concern at the moment because we're still early in the season but Dean Smith will be all too aware of the perils that come with signing forward players.
After splashing out on Samatta and Wesley last term, they only bagged six goals in the top-flight.
That is a shoddy record and if Villa want to stay up again, they'll need increased firepower.
King scored six goals himself last term and has plenty of Premier League experience to his name - 161 appearances.
At £10m, this would be a very smart signing. Supporters must now hope they beat Torino to his signature.
