Leeds United have enjoyed a fabulous start to the new season.
Although they lost on the opening weekend to Liverpool, they followed that up with successive wins over Fulham and Sheffield United.
Marcelo Bielsa's men have already scored eight goals and at times have been utterly ruthless going forward. Thus, their first clean sheet against the Blades last weekend will have delighted the squad.
The Whites came into the new campaign with just two centre-halves - Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper. Therefore, the additions of Robin Koch and Diego Llorente should do a great deal to improve their backline even further.
Ben White is back at Brighton but that hasn't fazed the Whites who are doing just fine without the young defender.
Although a move for Daniele Rugani has been touted, Leeds' focus is now on adding another body to their attack.
Coincidentally, it's a different Juventus player that has appeared on Victor Orta's radar in the final week of the window.
According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Leeds were given an opportunity to sign Brazilian winger Douglas Costa from the Italian champions.
He claims that both Wolves and Manchester United were presented with the chance and there has even been an attempt to bring him to England by Nuno Santo's men.
However, Costa isn't attracted by the idea of moving to Molineux.
Unfortunately, Leeds' interest in a move has now gone 'cold' with the Yorkshire side preferring other options in the market.
Lately, they have been considering a move for Todd Cantwell and personal terms are reportedly already agreed.
GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...
You don't get the opportunity to sign a player like Costa every day so it almost defies belief that Leeds' focus is elsewhere.
The 30-year-old was once valued at £49m, while he continues to be one of the most threatening wide players in European football.
Clearly, Costa could have added a different dynamic to this Leeds squad. They'll just have to settle for Cantwell instead.
If you told Leeds supporters they'd be preferring a Norwich player over someone at Juventus a year ago, they'd have merely laughed in your face.
