Everton have enjoyed an excellent start to the season.
Carlo Ancelotti’s season brought in a number of new players in the transfer window, including a number of genuinely surprising acquisitions.
James Rodriguez is one such signing, moving from Real Madrid to bring some much-needed star power to Goodison Park, while they have also brought in Allan from Napoli, and Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford.
Thus far this term, they have won all six of their games in all competitions, beating Tottenham Hotspur, West Bromwich Albion, and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, while they have also defeated Salford City, Fleetwood Town, and West Ham United in the EFL Cup.
It means they have progressed safely to the quarter-finals of the cup competition, while they are also third in the league on goal difference, behind only Leicester City and Liverpool.
One man who has not played much of a part in that run, though, is Moise Kean.
He was signed from Juventus in 2019 but has played just 13 minutes in the league, despite scoring twice in two games in the EFL Cup.
He was not in the squad against West Ham in midweek, however, and it appears that he could now be on his way out, with a surprising suitor emerging.
Sport Witness carries a report from Corriere dello Sport, claiming that French champions PSG have “asked” about signing the Italian, as they look to replace Edinson Cavani, who has left on a free transfer.
Kean has made a total of 37 appearances for Everton and has scored just four goals, registering two assists.

PSG being interested in Kean really does seem like a surprise.
The 20-year-old remains a genuinely young prospect and is still living off his time at Juventus, where he scored eight goals in 21 games.
A five-cap Italy international, he is clearly a talented prospect and has plenty of time left to peak and become the player that it seems like he could be.
He is talented, he has the ability to beat defenders, and can score goals, but it hasn’t clicked for him in the Premier League.
A potential move to France could well give him the ability to become a genuine star, especially playing alongside the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
For Kean, it feels like a dream move, but it would take Everton giving up on their youngster to countenance a move.
One thinks that may have to be the best option.
