Tottenham are still yet to keep a clean sheet this season.

That should be a huge worry to Jose Mourinho who still hasn't added a centre-half to his squad over the summer either.

The good thing, though, is that they cannot stop scoring.

Spurs stuck seven goals past Maccabi Haifa on Thursday night, thus sealing their way into the group stages of the Europa League.

Mourinho's side have had to take on some of the minnows of Europe in the last few weeks and over the course of the qualifying stages, have netted 12 goals in three matches.

The club also racked up five against Southampton in the Premier League too.

To think that Tottenham have Gareth Bale and Carlos Vinicius to come into the team, therefore, is a scary thought.

Mourinho and Dele

Mourinho has his side playing some truly dangerous football at the moment and with Heung-min Son set for a spell on the sidelines, they may think moving for an additional winger is a good idea.

Earlier in the window the north Londoners were linked with a move for Leicester attacker Demarai Gray.

The 24-year-old currently has a year left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium and a fresh report from The Mirror now suggests that the Foxes are open to selling him before the window closes.

The report states that Spurs are long-term admirers of Gray but there is plenty of interest from abroad, particularly Germany, for his services.

Leeds have previously been touted with making a switch for the winger so it won't be straightforward if Tottenham want to land him.

Gray had a price tag set of £20m last month.

Demarai Gray

GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...

Let's lay down the law immediately, Gray would be nowhere near a starting place at Spurs.

His desire for leaving Leicester is because he's behind Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes in the pecking order and if he joins a club with attacking options in abundance, he could find playing time even tougher to come by.

That being said, he'd certainly be a handy player to have around the squad.

Despite being open to selling Gray now, Brendan Rodgers thinks highly of the former Birmingham winger.

Earlier this summer, the Leicester boss revealed he wanted to keep the player, hailing him as a "wonderful talent."

Demarai Gray

Describing Gray's game in a bit more detail, he added: "He can dribble, he can do everything. With Demarai, it’s always been about that end product, creating goals and assisting goals on a regular basis, and then working with an intensity to fit in with the structure of the team."

But there lies the issue. The Englishman has never been able to produce goals on a regular basis.

He has just ten goals in 132 league outings and has contributed to only 11 assists in that time. Clear improvement is needed if he wants to make the step up at Spurs.
