Tottenham Hotspur need to shift some players.
They have enjoyed some real success when it comes to bringing players into the club.
Chairman Daniel Levy has managed to furnish Jose Mourinho’s squad with some real quality, signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, Matt Doherty from Wolves, Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, and Joe Hart on a free transfer.
They are also closing in on a deal for Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius, who will join on loan with an option to buy.
Then there is the chase for a centre-back; Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has been identified as a potential acquisition and the pursuit is likely to run into the final days of the transfer window.
Nevertheless, manager Jose Mourinho has complained about the balance within his squad and one feels that sales, or loans, are needed to help thin the squad.
Kyle Walker-Peters and Jan Vertonghen have moved to Southampton and Benfica, Michel Vorm has been released, while Oliver Skipp and Troy Parrott have joined Norwich City and Millwall on loan.
There is now some suggestion that Ryan Sessegnon could be the next to move on.
Sport Witness carries a report from Bild claiming that there are two Bundesliga clubs interested in snapping up the former Fulham defender-cum-winger, and approaches are being mooted.
Both Hertha Berlin and RB Leipzig, who beat Spurs in last season’s Champions League, are weighing up moves, which would be loans.
It is said they would “gladly” include an option to buy in any deal, but Spurs are not said to be interested in that.
There have been a number of English youngsters heading to the Bundesliga to develop – most notably Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, who have both gone to Borussia Dortmund – and Sessegnon could be the next in line.

This makes a whole heap of sense.
Sessegnon needs to play to become the player Spurs spent £25m on, and a move to Germany could see him thrive.
He is a versatile talent, capable of playing on the wing and at left-back, and that is said to be one of the reasons the clubs are interested.
After all, he hasn’t had a chance this season, where he has been on the bench just once, in the first Europa League qualifying game against Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
He has not been in the squad at all in the Premier League.
Now is the time to let him move on, on a short-term deal, and become a star.
