Leeds United have enjoyed an excellent summer transfer window. But they're far from finished yet. After securing promotion from the Championship last term there was expected to be a long period of transition as the club adapted to life in the top tier of English football. To spend 16 years away from the Premier League is a big deal for a club of the Whites' stature, but they've certainly wasted little time in fitting back in.While Marcelo Bielsa has been loyal to the group of players who worked so hard to secure promotion for the club over the last two seasons, he knew that the club would need to strengthen. The decision to bring Illan Meslier, Helder Costa and Jack Harrison back to the club was followed up by the addition of some if English football's hottest prospects. But while building for the future was key, it was also essential to be ready for the here and now.Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Rodrigo all arrived at the club for significant fees, however Leeds are far from done yet.p1ejq5f399jft1jfpftb1okqkc59.jpgVictor Orta and his recruitment team are working tirelessly to add an offensive midfielder to the squad.Michael Cuisance appeared likely to make the move to Elland Road, however that deal fell through at the last minute. With limited time remaining in the transfer window Leeds are hot on the trail of several players.According to Phil Hay, one of those is Ovie Ejaria.Described by Mark Bowen as having 'exceptional quality', the Reading midfielder has been a key player for the Championship club in recent seasons after making 58 appearances for the club.According to the reputable Athletic reporter, the 22-year-old is one player on the club's radar.

Hay tweeted: "Centre midfield is still possible but need to make inroads quickly.

"ideally they'd like someone who can do the Klich role too, in the way that Cuisance could have."

Hay then went on to discuss the Championship star, but admitted that a move was unlikely to materialise.

He added: "They'd looked at Ejaria (Reading) but I very much doubt it's going to be him."

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

It's certainly going to be an interesting period for Leeds United.

Victor Orta is determined to bring in an attack-minded midfielder in the transfer market and so that's a deal that supporters should look out for.

However, with the domestic transfer window not closing until the middle of the month it means that a decision may not be made just yet.

Valued at £2.88m by Transfermarkt, Ovie Ejaria is a good player at Championship level but questions may be asked over whether he's capable of stepping up.

Phil Hay seems doubtful that a deal will happen, and I'd be inclined to agree with him.
