That has only been heightened by a very poor start to the new season.
United have picked up just three points from their opening thee fixtures in the Premier League and that sees them sitting in 16th position going into the first international break of the season.

Spanish title RAC1, as quoted by the Daily Express, claim that the Catalan side are 'strongly considering' a loan approach from Old Trafford.
It's claimed that Ronald Koeman's side are beginning to like the idea of sending him out on loan after previously being adamant that he would only leave the club on a permanent basis.

Ousmane Dembele is regarded as a player with the potential to be among the best in the world.
Unfortunately some injuries have stopped him really kicking on since moving to the Nou Camp.
Valued at £50.4million by Transfermarkt, Dembele could be an absolute game-changer at Old Trafford.
A permanent move for the player is unlikely to happen, and so it would take a loan deal for this deal to get over the line.
United need attacking additions and perhaps a short-term switch could be just what's needed to get the deal done.
That way the club could take a look at him this season before deciding if he has what it takes to become a permanent addition.
