Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a very promising start to the season.
In the transfer window, they have brought in a number of genuinely excellent first-team players.
Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon have arrived from Real Madrid, while Matt Doherty, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Carlos Vinicius have arrived from Wolves, Southampton, and Benfica respectively, along with Joe Hart coming in on a free transfer.
On the pitch, too, Spurs have impressed.
While they did lose 1-0 to Everton on the opening day, they then beat Southampton 5-2, drew 1-1 with Newcastle United after a massive VAR controversy, and then thumped Manchester United 6-1 in a historic performance at the weekend.
They have also progressed to the EFL Cup quarter-finals after beating Chelsea on penalties, and are into the Europa League group stages.
In the league, it means they are currently sixth, five points behind Everton, who have a perfect record from their first four games, and two points behind Aston Villa, Leicester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
And former manager Harry Redknapp is tipping the club to mount a serious title challenge this season.
They have done so before, of course, under Mauricio Pochettino, but are still yet to win a trophy since 2008, when they lifted the League Cup under Juande Ramos.
Still, Redknapp thinks they have all the ingredients required to win the title with Mourinho at the helm.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, he said: "If you ask me, honestly, I think they will make top four. I think they could even win the league this year.
"I know people are going to think I am crazy but I look at that squad. It looks like it is going to be an open year. Look what happened at the weekend.
"I am telling you, that is some squad they have got. They have got cover in every position. It is a really powerful squad. If anyone is going to upset the big two…"
He added: “Go through that team. Have a look at that squad. Go through that forward line. Heung-Min Son. Harry Kane. Gareth Bale.
"Look at the strength in depth. They are full of midfield players. Defensively, they have two right-backs and two left-backs.
"They could be scary. I think Tottenham are a danger to anyone in that division this year. Lump on, whatever price they ask.
"If anyone else is going to do it, it could be Spurs."

While Redknapp is clearly a bit biased – he managed Spurs to the Champions League quarter-finals back in 2011 – he could be right.
This is a remarkably open season that has already seen Manchester City lose 5-2 to Leicester City and Liverpool get battered 7-2 by Aston Villa.
If Spurs do click, and Bale hits the ground running, there is every chance.
Mourinho, after all, has plenty of history of winning trophies; he’s done it at every club he’s been at, so why not Spurs?
It would take a remarkable feat for them to win the title, of course it would, but with Manchester United in turmoil, Chelsea yet to truly gel, and Arsenal something of an unknown quantity, one has to say that Spurs could well be the closest challengers to the big two.
