The release of a new FIFA game is always an exciting time in the calendar.
Despite the many issues that plagued FIFA 20 - especially after its immediate release - there’s still plenty of buzz surrounding EA Sports’ new game, FIFA 21, which will be released on October 9.
The ratings for the top 100 players were revealed last month, with Lionel Messi coming out on top as the game’s best player.
Robert Lewandowski, Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne and, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo, joined Messi in the top 10.
Those five players will be lusted after in Ultimate Team. And so too will a collection of FIFA 21’s most improved players.
FIFA 21's most improved players
Goal have picked out the 27 players who have received the biggest upgrades from their FIFA 20 ratings, with Erling Haaland and Mason Greenwood among the names to feature.
Since FIFA 20 was released, Haaland has left RB Salzburg for Borussia Dortmund, where he smashed 16 goals in 18 games.
Meanwhile, Manchester United’s Greenwood enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2019/20 and looks like a future star.
Other big improvers were Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies and Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka.
