Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for a big season.
Last term didn't exactly go to plan for the north London side as they fell short of expectation by failing to finish the season in the top four.
While they were able to qualify for the Europa League, the task for Jose Mourinho this time around is to get the club back on track.
For that to happen it was always going to be key that the club strengthened in the transfer market.
Spurs started with deals to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Hart and Matt Doherty from Southampton, Burnley and Wolves respectively.
They were then followed up by a spectacular double deal for Real Madrid duo Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale, before capping off the international window with a move for Carlos Vinicius.
While those deals have undoubtedly moved the club forward it seems that Tottenham are still targeting a central defender.
Swansea City star Joe Rodon has been heavily linked with a move to the club, and according to former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson he's a player who would be a very astute signing.
Speaking to Football Insider, Robinson said: “Rodon is a very promising young player.
“I think it would be a fantastic signing for Spurs. He has experience at international level as well. He has got a big future ahead of him.
“Rodon is not going to come in and play week in and week out but it would be another option for Jose Mourinho the back.
“It would be great for him to develop under a manager like Jose Mourinho and around players like Alderweireld and Sanchez.
“They do need another recognised centre-half and he fits the bill.”

This could be a very astute signing for Tottenham Hotspur.
The club are focused on signing players who can serve the club in the long run and Joe Rodon certainly fits that criteria.
Described as someone who is 'destined for the top', Rodon has every potential to be a top Premier League player.
He's probably not there just yet, but with the right development under Jose Mourinho there's no end to where he could end up.
Spurs have just over a week to get a deal wrapped up, and it certainly seems like one which could happen.
Now it's just a case of convincing Swansea to sell their star man.
