Anyone who has ever played Ultimate Team on FIFA knows that pace is king.

Nothing strikes fear into gamers quite like the sight of four or five players with 90+ pace popping up in the loading screen.

The necessity for speed means building an XI dominated by those with high pace ratings can often cost an arm and a leg - especially at the beginning of a new edition of FIFA.

So with that in mind, we here at GIVEMESPORT decided to have a look at what it would cost to build a team with 100 chemistry and an average pace rating of close to 90.

Using players from the Bundesliga only, we've created the perfect 'Rapid XI' for all you pace noobs out there and the whole team is available for a combined price of just 150,000 coins.

The FIFA 21 cover

Take a look for yourself below.

Formation: 4-4-1-1

FIFA 21's rapid XI

GK: Lukas Hradecky, Bayer Leverkusen | 83 rated | n/a pace

Obviously we're not going to judge a 'keeper by their speed, so we've opted for the Finnish shot-stopper in our XI because he's an absolute steal at 1,500 coins.

RB: Kevin Mbabu, Wolfsburg | 79 rated | 89 pace

The Swiss full-back combines frightening speed with immense strength, a deadly combination on FIFA. As a result, he'll set you back around 15,000 coins.

CB: Lukas Klostermann, RB Leipzig | 80 rated | 84 pace

Formally a right-back on FIFA, the German defender is now listed as a centre-back and is one of the fastest in the position on FIFA 21. Unsurprisingly, he's worth around 25,000 coins.

CB: Jeremiah St. Juste, Mainz | 74 rated | 85 pace

One of the only centre-backs faster than Klostermann conveniently operates in the Bundesliga as well. His 85 pace rating is reason enough to cough up the 9,000 coins required to purchase the Dutchman's silver card.

LB: Alphonso Davies, Bayern Munich | 81 rated | 96 pace

A left-back with 96 pace? Yeah, we don't need to say anymore here. Davies is worth every penny of his current 61,500 coin price tag.

RM: Karim Bellarabi, Bayer Leverkusen | 82 rated | 90 pace

A regular go-to for FIFA fans at the early stage of Ultimate Team due to his blistering pace. Bellarabi's card is available for just 2,700 coins.

CM: Denis Zakaria, Borussia Monchengladbach | 83 rated | 83 pace

Zakaria is now one of the most complete midfielders on FIFA, boasting 85 sprint speed and 87 strength. His 24,000 coin worth is exceptional value as well.

CM: Konrad Laimer, RB Leipzig | 82 rated | 85 pace

Think Zakaria is a bargain? Well, you can pick up the lightning-quick Laimer to partner him in midfield for just - wait for it - 3,200 coins.

LM: Leon Bailey, Bayer Leverkusen | 80 rated | 94 pace

The Jamaican winger's overall rating has taken a bit of a turn for the worse, but his pace stats are still frightening. His downgrade from 82 to 80 means Bailey is available for just 3,400 coins.

CF: Milot Rashica, Werder Bremen | 79 rated | 88 pace

The Kosovo international has been switched from a winger to a centre-forward on FIFA 21, making one of the most overpowered players on the game. What's even better is Rashica costs just 2,400 coins.

ST: Hwang Hee-chan, RB Leipzig | 77 rated | 93 pace

His overall rating may not be the best, but the South Korean striker will torment centre-backs for fun thanks to his outrageous speed. Hwang's 1,500 coin value is also a dream for all you frugal FIFA fans.

Average pace rating of the 10 outfield players: 88.7

Overall cost (estimated): 151,000 coins

Not bad, eh?
