Kai Havertz appears to have already found his feet in English football.
After a quiet start to life in the Premier League, the £72m forward is now beginning to showcase his talent, the German excelling in Chelsea's recent 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Havertz also scored a hat-trick in the Blues' 6-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup back at the end of September.
The 21-year-old is primed to take the Premier League by storm after the international break now that he's adjusted to the harsh demands of English football.
So just how different is the Bundesliga compared to Havertz's new footballing home and why do players often find it so difficult to adapt? Well, the former Bayer Leverkusen man has provided an answer to that very question.
Speaking to Chelsea's official website, the languid German forward stated that he believes the intensity levels are higher because there are no "bad or average players" in the Premier League.
"The intensity in the duels and the runs is much higher," Havertz said. "It's a completely different league and the games are very exhausting.
"The Bundesliga isn't worse but I noticed differences. It seems to me like there aren't any average or bad players here – everybody is at a very high level."
You can tell Havertz hasn't had the pleasure of facing Manchester United and Harry Maguire as of yet...
The German added that leaving his family and being thrown into Frank Lampard's team just days after arriving at the club were reasons behind his early struggles.
"The start was a little difficult because I only trained with the team for five or six days, then played the first game right away," Havertz added.
"It was also a very big step for me to leave my family and familiar surroundings. Of course, it takes time to get it right."
