There were some incredible deals made by Premier League clubs in the final days of the summer transfer window. 

Tottenham shocked the world when they completed the loan signing of former star, Gareth Bale.

Spurs are paying Bale a cool £220,000-per-week, with the rest of his contract being paid by Real Madrid.

There were two more blockbuster deals on transfer deadline day.

Man United had been looking to bolster their attack throughout the summer and they finally did so when they signed Edinson Cavani on a £210,000-per-week deal.

And Arsenal managed to sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid, with the Mirror reporting that he will earn a huge £260,000-per-week at the north London club.

So there are six summer signings now among the top 20 highest-paid players in the Premier League: Werner, Chilwell, Willian, Cavani, Bale and Partey.

Surprisingly, Arsenal have five players in the top 20, the joint most with Man United.

But the top four is dominated by the Manchester clubs, with De Gea earning the most money in England's top tier by a considerable margain.
