Harry Maguire has been in the headlines recently, mostly all for the wrong reasons. The problems started when he was arrested in Greece while on holiday in Mykonos. And these personal issues quickly translated onto the football pitch.Maguire, like the rest of his teammates, was absolutely dismal as United were smashed 6-1 by Tottenham in the Premier League earlier this month. The United captain was at fault for a couple of goals in the game.Harry Maguire in action for Man UnitedAnd his poor form continued in England's Nations League clash against Denmark on Wednesday evening. The United defender was yellow carded for an ugly challenge inside the opening 10 minutes. And he then received his marching orders just after the half-an-hour mark.Maguire took a heavy touch and then took down Kasper Dolberg when trying to recover.

It really has been an awful few weeks for the United captain. It's fair to say he hasn't justified United's decision to splash out £80m and make him the most expensive defender ever last summer.

And it went from bad to worse for England when they went a goal down just a few minutes later.

Thomas Delaney went down in the box under pressure from Kyle Walker and Jordan Pickford.

It looked incredibly soft but the referee still pointed to the spot.

And Christian Eriksen accepted the gift by sending Pickford the wrong way and smashing the ball into the top corner.

Maguire now heads back to United in the toughest moment of his career.

He will be hoping to get back to form when United take on Newcastle at St James' Park on Saturday evening.
